Role Overview:


We are looking for a Senior Backoffice Officer with proven experience in the forex industry to join our client’s team in Larnaca. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in backoffice operations, payment systems, and technology integrations within a brokerage environment. This position requires a highly organized professional capable of overseeing daily backoffice processes, troubleshooting technical issues, liaising with third-party providers, and ensuring smooth operational performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the full spectrum of backoffice operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Perform daily monitoring and reconciliation of client deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers.
  • Ensure seamless functionality of backoffice systems, including FXBO.
  • Troubleshoot technical and operational issues encountered by the team, escalating to technical teams when required and pushing for timely resolution.
  • Liaise with third-party technology providers and payment service providers (PSPs) to resolve operational and system-related matters.
  • Prepare and deliver reports to senior management on backoffice operations, client funding flows, and system performance.
  • Maintain strong internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor junior backoffice staff, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to procedures.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in backoffice operations within the
    forex or financial services sector.
  • Proven hands-on experience with FXBO and MT5 backoffice systems.
  • Strong background in working with third-party technology providers and PSPs.
  • Solid experience in troubleshooting technical and operational issues, with the
    ability to escalate and follow up with technical teams until resolution.
  • Strong understanding of brokerage operations, client fund flows, and settlements.
  • Familiarity with international financial regulations is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Excel and operational systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing and supporting a team.
  • Fluent in English.
