About the Role
Our client, a regulated FX broker, is seeking a Risk Manager to lead the company’s risk function. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the Board and Senior Management with insights and reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of the risk framework within a dynamic, regulated environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the company’s risk management function, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks
  • Act as a member of the Risk Management Committee
  • Stay up to date with local and EU legislation, rules, and best practices in risk management; keep the Board informed of relevant updates
  • Monitor and analyse the company’s risk exposures, providing commentary and recommendations
  • Deliver training to Senior Management and staff on risk regulatory requirements and practices
  • Prepare and present detailed reporting for Senior Management
  • Supervise the preparation and submission of regulatory reports (e.g., Risk Management Report, Pillar I, Pillar II, and Pillar III)
  • Maintain and update the internal Risk Register, ensuring KRIs and best practices are in place

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in Finance, Risk Management, Law, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Risk Manager in a regulated company (FX industry experience preferred)
  • CySEC Advanced Certificate (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of risk management tools, techniques, and their implementation
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • EU citizenship or valid work permit
