Head of Dealing – Nicosia

Location: Nicosia, Cyprus
Working Model: Primarily onsite (1 remote day per week post-probation, subject to performance and business needs)

On behalf of our client, an established international FX/CFD brokerage, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Dealing to lead the dealing function and oversee execution, risk, and liquidity operations.

This is a senior leadership role suited to a hands-on professional with strong expertise in dealing desk management, risk oversight, and liquidity relationships within a fast-paced brokerage environment.

Role Purpose
To lead and manage the dealing function, ensuring efficient execution, robust risk management, and optimal liquidity performance across FX/CFD products, while maintaining strong operational integrity and alignment with senior management objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Dealing Desk Leadership

• Lead, manage, and develop the dealing team to ensure high performance and operational efficiency
• Oversee day-to-day dealing desk operations across FX/CFD products
• Provide direction and support on execution quality and workflow management

Risk & Exposure Management

• Monitor and manage overall risk exposure across trading books
• Oversee A-Book / B-Book strategies and ensure appropriate application
• Identify and respond to risk trends and market exposure in real time
• Implement improvements to risk and dealing processes where required

Liquidity & Execution

• Manage relationships with Liquidity Providers (LPs)
• Monitor pricing, spreads, execution quality, and slippage
• Ensure efficient trade execution and hedging strategies where applicable
• Analyse trading flow and execution performance to optimise outcomes

Reporting & Collaboration

• Produce regular reports on risk, exposure, execution, and dealing performance
• Work closely with senior management, compliance, and operations teams
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and best market practice standards

Requirements

• 6+ years’ experience in FX/CFD brokerage dealing operations
• Proven experience managing a dealing desk team (7+ professionals)
• Strong knowledge of A-Book / B-Book models, liquidity management, and execution environments
• Experience working with Liquidity Providers and execution platforms
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills under pressure
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced brokerage environment

Working Hours
Monday – Friday | 10:00 – 18:00
Flexibility required during peak market conditions, including occasional extended hours, weekends, or holidays if needed
