Chief Executive Officer – Dubai
Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its operations across both FX brokerage and crypto exchange divisions. Reporting directly to the Chairman, the CEO will be responsible for driving strategy, securing regulatory approvals, ensuring compliance, and delivering sustainable revenue growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for a proven executive with deep knowledge of FX and crypto markets, capable of building a high-performing organisation in a competitive, fast-evolving sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, oversee, and execute the company’s strategic direction across FX brokerage and crypto exchange operations
- Obtain the necessary license to operate the crypto exchange in Dubai
- Drive profitability and sustainable growth of the FX brokerage division
- Work closely with the Chairman to develop and deliver strategic initiatives
- Build, mentor, and manage high-performing teams across both verticals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulators, institutional clients, and key partners
- Represent the company at industry events, strengthening its brand reputation and market trust
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven C-level leadership experience in financial services, ideally with exposure to both FX brokerage and crypto exchanges
- Strong understanding of Dubai’s regulatory frameworks for crypto exchanges
- Demonstrated success in building profitable FX brokerage businesses
- Minimum 5+ years of executive leadership in high-growth or start-up environments
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution
- Willingness and ability to relocate to Dubai (visa support provided; accommodation not included)
