About the Role

This position is for our client, a regulated FX broker based in Limassol. The role is on-site, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Job Responsibilities

  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry updates.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the organization adheres to relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and address compliance issues.
  • Monitor daily operations for adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
  • Create and deliver training programs on compliance and regulatory matters for employees.
  • Oversee, perform, and verify KYC due diligence checks.
  • Ensure all staff understand and comply with their compliance responsibilities.
  • Identify and assess compliance risks, implementing effective mitigation measures.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance-related incidents and breaches.
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote a cohesive approach to compliance.
  • Communicate compliance guidelines, expectations, and updates across the organization.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of compliance activities.
  • Prepare and ensure documentation is audit-ready for regulatory inspections.
  • Act as a resource and advisor on compliance and AML-related matters, offering guidance to the team and departments to ensure legal adherence.
  • Prepare and update company documents (e.g., templates) as necessary.
  • Review, investigate, and assist with resolving client complaints.
  • Provide advice and support to relevant personnel to ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a Compliance Officer or similar role within the financial services sector.
  • CySEC Advanced, CySEC AML, or ACAMS certifications are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CySEC, FSA, FSCA, VFSC, or FSC is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Fluency in English (verbal and written).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
    • Strong analytical and research skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
    • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and thrive under pressure.
