Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a General Manager to join a high-growth fintech and trading business operating across trading, technology, and digital financial services.
This is a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility and ownership of execution across business development, sales, marketing, product, compliance, and operations.
The successful candidate will act as the central driver of performance, ensuring all departments operate in alignment, with clear priorities, KPIs, and delivery focus.
Role Purpose
Own and drive end-to-end execution across the business, translating strategy into performance and ensuring commercial, operational, and organisational alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Leadership & Alignment
- Lead and align business development, sales, marketing, product, compliance, and operations
- Define priorities, KPIs, and execution timelines across all functions
- Ensure cross-functional accountability and collaboration
Strategy & Growth
- Develop annual and quarterly business plans
- Own revenue forecasting, growth strategy, and cost optimisation
- Identify and execute key growth drivers across markets and products
Performance Management
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly business performance
- Identify gaps and implement corrective actions quickly
- Ensure delivery against commercial targets
Commercial & Product Oversight
- Contribute to decisions across funnels, monetisation, ROI, and partnerships
- Support optimisation of product and marketing performance
- Ensure alignment between commercial and operational execution
People & Culture
- Build a high-performance, accountable culture
- Develop senior leadership capability across teams
- Improve operational efficiency and remove blockers to growth
Ideal Profile
- 8–12+ years’ experience in fintech, trading, brokerage, or related digital sectors
- Proven experience leading multi-functional teams
- Strong commercial and analytical capability with operational depth
- Hands-on leadership style combined with strategic thinking
- Experience scaling businesses, teams, or markets in high-growth environments
