Role Overview
We are looking for an AI Automation Specialist to help improve business operations by building internal automation systems, AI-powered workflows, and productivity tools.
This role will focus on identifying repetitive manual tasks, operational bottlenecks, and business inefficiencies, then implementing automation and AI solutions that improve speed, accuracy, and scalability across departments.
You will work closely with business teams to transform manual processes into automated systems using AI tools, workflow platforms, APIs, and internal databases.
This role is focused on practical implementation, not academic AI research.
Key Responsibilities
AI Workflow Automation
- Build automation workflows to reduce repetitive manual work
- Automate recurring reports and operational processes
- Create approval workflows and notification systems
- Improve internal operational efficiency through automation
AI Solution Development
- Build internal AI assistants/chatbots for employees
- Develop internal knowledge bots for company policies, SOPs, promotions, and FAQs
- Implement document extraction workflows using AI
- Build AI-powered productivity tools for internal teams
System Integration
- Connect internal systems through APIs
- Integrate databases, CRM systems, Google Workspace tools, and communication platforms
- Build automated data pipelines for operational use cases
Business Process Improvement
- Analyze current manual workflows
- Identify automation opportunities
- Recommend process improvements
- Reduce operational bottlenecks
Maintenance & Monitoring
- Maintain workflow reliability
- Troubleshoot automation failures
- Monitor system performance
- Improve existing automation processes
Documentation
- Document workflows
- Maintain automation SOPs
- Create internal usage documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
OR
Strong self-taught portfolio/project experience
Technical Skills
- Intermediate Python or other programming language
- SQL knowledge
- API integration understanding
- Understanding of automation platforms
- Understanding of AI/LLM tools
Familiarity with tools such as:
- Codex, Claude (these two mainly)
- n8n, Make, Zapier
- LLM API (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or other model)
- Google Sheets, Google Workspace
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, Click house
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building chatbot/AI side projects
- Experience with workflow automation tools
