Job Description

Location: Remote within Asia or MENA region

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our trading operations. The Head of Trading Operations will oversee all dealing activities, manage trading risk, and ensure operational efficiency within our forex trading business. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and deep market expertise to optimize trading performance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee Dealing Operations

  • Manage all aspects of trade execution, order management, and liquidity provision.
  • Develop and implement trading strategies to enhance performance and profitability.
  • Monitor market conditions and execute trades within established guidelines and risk limits.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

2. Risk Management

  • Develop and enforce risk management policies to identify, assess, and mitigate trading risks.
  • Monitor trading positions, exposures, and market developments to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Implement controls such as position limits, stop-loss orders, and hedging strategies.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and stress tests to ensure portfolio resilience.

3. Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and support the dealing team to achieve high performance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and guide professional development.

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare reports on trading performance, risk exposures, and compliance for senior management and regulators.
  • Conduct post-trade analysis and performance attribution to optimize trading strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA) preferred.
  • 2–3+ years of experience in forex trading and risk management in a similar role.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and risk management techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex trading data.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sound judgment and ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Proficiency in trading platforms, risk management systems, and financial analysis tools.
