Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Head of Brokerage to lead and scale our dealing desk operations, driving execution excellence across our global CFD business.

Reporting directly to the CEO/CFO, this is a senior leadership role with full ownership of execution strategy, dealing desk performance, and profitability.

You will act as the operational backbone of the trading floor ensuring competitive pricing, optimal execution, and a high-performing team operating at institutional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Dealing Desk Leadership

  • Full ownership of dealing desk operations across FX, indices, commodities, equities, and crypto CFDs
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing 24/5 dealing team
  • Define and enforce execution policies (slippage, requotes, order handling)
  • Drive a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement

Execution Strategy

  • Design and optimize the firm’s execution model and flow management strategy
  • Oversee routing logic and liquidity allocation in collaboration with Risk
  • Adjust execution approach during high-impact market events (NFP, central bank decisions, earnings releases)

Technology & Infrastructure

  • Own and optimise the trading stack (MT4/MT5, cTrader, bridges, aggregators, pricing engines)
  • Partner with IT to improve latency, stability, and execution speed
  • Evaluate, onboard, and manage liquidity providers and pricing feeds

P&L Ownership

  • Full accountability for dealing desk P&L
  • Monitor and optimise:
    • Spread capture
    • Execution quality
    • Hedging costs
  • Deliver clear, data-driven reporting to senior leadership

Compliance & Best Execution

  • Ensure adherence to best execution standards and regulatory frameworks (FCA, CySEC, ASIC)
  • Maintain documentation of execution policies and procedures
  • Support audits and regulatory reporting

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years in a brokerage/dealing desk environment
  • 3+ years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong expertise in:
    • CFD execution models
    • Flow management & internalisation
    • Liquidity aggregation
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • MT5 bridges, pricing engines, execution systems
  • Deep knowledge across multi-asset CFD markets
  • Proven experience building, managing, and scaling dealing teams
  • Strong commercial mindset — understands how execution drives revenue
  • Experience within regulated environments (FCA, CySEC, ASIC)

Nice to Have

  • Experience building a dealing desk from scratch
  • Exposure to proprietary trading tech or custom execution setups
  • Strong understanding of hedging and risk management strategies
  • Crypto CFD execution experience
